Canapés and Bowl Food Menus

Canapés

We are able to offer several styles of service; from the traditional waiter offering from a tray to theatre style service areas where your guests can come up to different themed stations to see what is on offer, see sample menus below:

Classic Canapés

Smoked salmon and celeriac rémoulade - Oak smoked salmon with celeriac, grain mustard and herbs, bound in rich mayonnaise, served in a filo basket
Potted ham and fruit chutney - pressed terrine of ham hock, sliced on to croustades and served with a date and apple chutney and fresh herbs
Potted shrimps with lemon - Morecambe Bay shrimps rolled with butter, dill and tarragon with diced lemon on toast
Stilton, apple and celery ‘Waldorf’ (V) - small dice of Cropwell Bishop Stilton, crisp apple and celery bound in crème fraîche, topped with deep fried walnuts, served in a croustade cup
Chilled tomato gazpachio ‘shooter’ (V) – red pepper, tomato and basil with virgin olive oil
Teriyaki chicken skewer – chicken roasted with soy, mirin and spring onion

Hot Bowl Food

As with the canapés we can either serve this by moving through your guests with large trays with a selection of appetising bowl food or we can create ‘stalls’ each specialising in a flavour of food. Perfect for the end of an evening event as a late supper or breakfast style experience.

Hot & sour chicken, Asian vegetables, vermicelli noodle
Wild mushroom risotto, truffle oil and parmesan
8 hour braised shin of Welsh beef, horseradish mashed potatoes
Greek salad, roasted vine tomatoes, marinated feta & black olives
Bangers and mash served with onion gravy
Braised belly of Cheshire pork, Savoy cabbage and poppy seeds
Kedgeree, lightly curry spiced rice with smoked haddock & egg mimosa
Creamy fish pie, white wine & dill, parsley crumbs
Moroccan spiced salmon served with cous cous
Salad of blue cheese, poached pear, Wirral watercress and walnut pesto
