Bangor On Dee Racecourse is set in glorious countryside alongside the ancient River Dee, the course takes its name from the historic and picturesque village of Bangor-on-Dee and enjoys breathtaking views of the surrounding Welsh Hills.

This historic venue was originally opened in 1859 and provides the perfect venue to hold your corporate, social, sporting or family events.  

The racecourse boasts three separate venues with six individual rooms with a range of capacities from 40 to 300 people. Facilities include the Paddock Suite and the Wynnstay Room.

Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse has the pleasure of offering civil ceremonies and partnerships within our unique venue. The Paddock Suite, The Wynnstay Room and Annual Members Room are all licensed for your wedding service.

Bangor-on-Dee is conveniently located for Wrexham and Chester, a short drive from the M6 and the A483.
